Firstrust also supports City Year, a nationwide organization that recruits young people to help disadvantaged residents of inner cities with school, work and life skills. Locally, the bank supports this effort by underwriting a team working with an after-school program in North Philadelphia. Beyond monetary contributions, our employees share their time and management expertise through a variety of volunteer efforts such as serving meals to the homeless and organizing trips for children with disabilities.
The bank’s concern for special needs children extends to the Variety Club. "They are represented on our board and are involved in every facet," says Andrew Pack, executive director of the Variety Club of Philadelphia.
