Twenty-five high school seniors were awarded scholarships for providing their insights on the question “How I Will Use a College Education to Cultivate Prosperity in My Community,” a topic that has its roots in the Firstrust mission.

Both written and video essays were judged on the basis of content, grammar and style. To date, Firstrust has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to area students and families during the past 40 years.

In the spirit of his legacy, Firstrust is inspired to carry on this strong commitment toward helping students.

In its 40th year, the Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program has awarded more than a half-million dollars in scholarships to nearly 1,000 students. This year’s scholarship winners were chosen from applicants across the greater Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley and southern New Jersey region.
