Join us in congratulating the winners of the 41st Annual Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program.
Twenty-one high school seniors were awarded scholarships for providing their insights on the topic, “How I Will Use My College Education to Cultivate Prosperity in My Community,” a topic that has its roots in the Firstrust mission.
Both written and video essays were judged on the basis of content, grammar and style. To date, Firstrust has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to area students and families during the past four decades.

About The Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program and Firstrust Bank
The Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program was named in honor of Firstrust Founder Samuel A. Green, who was a staunch believer in encouraging young people to pursue their education and fulfill their life dreams. In the spirit of his legacy, Firstrust is inspired to carry on this strong commitment toward helping students.
In its 41st year, the Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program has awarded more than a half million dollars in scholarships to nearly 1,000 students. This year’s scholarship winners were chosen from applicants across the greater Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley and southern New Jersey region.
As the Firstrust mission statement explains, the Green family and Firstrust remain dedicated to cultivating prosperity for customers while enriching the communities they serve. Founded in 1934, Firstrust is a privately-owned bank that has assets of $2.4 billion serving the commercial and consumer banking needs of the Mid-Atlantic region. Please stop in any of our local branches to see how we can assist you with all of your financial and banking needs.
