Michael and his wife Julie founded the company to celebrate the urban and rural food traditions of Pennsylvania. The husband and wife team bring their heritage to the company as Michael is from West Philadelphia and Julie is from South Dakota.
Jack Asher, Co-Chairman, Asher's Chocolates

Jack is the third generation of the Asher family to run Asher's Chocolates. The company continues to employ team members from its early days in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
Bruce Lev, Partner, Chief Creative Officer, LevLane Advertising

Bruce, a life-long resident of Philadelphia, co-founded the prominent ad agency in 1984. In addition to his agency duties, the award-winning ad professional is an adjunct professor of advertising at Temple University and donates his time to many local charities.
The panel was moderated by Dawn Pelon, President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Ms. Pelon is also the regional marketing manager for International Truck and Engine.
