Web Site Security Statement
March 1, 2007
Overview
Firstrust Bank understands that the security of your personal and account information is important to you. We also understand that our continued success as a leading financial institution relies both on our ability to offer banking services to you in a secure manner and on your responsibility in keeping any access codes or passwords secure. To assist us in offering these Web-based banking services in a secure manner, we employ a number of measures, which are described below. These measures allow us, among other benefits, to properly authenticate your identity when you access these services and to protect your information as it traverses the Internet between your PC and Firstrust Bank.
Many of the financial services to which we provide access on this Web site utilize access codes (e.g., ID and password). For further details about a particular service's access codes, follow the links to the discussion of that service's security specifics.
To further protect you, a timeout feature is often used. This feature will automatically log you out of your current financial service session after an extended period of inactivity on the site.
Encryption
Whenever you access pages requesting or presenting sensitive financial or personal data, we will encrypt that data to prevent others from accessing it while in transit. We utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for this purpose. Most browsers display a padlock icon when SSL is being used on a secure page. We require the use of 128-bit SSL encryption in order to protect sensitive information.
Browser Requirements
Because of our security standard, you must use a browser that supports the use of 128-bit SSL encryption to access secure information over the Internet. AOL 6.0 or above, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above, and Netscape Navigator 4.0 or above all can support this level of encryption. You can follow the links below to update your browser to a compatible version, if needed.
In order to browse the non-secure areas of our site, any browser software compatible with the HTML 2.0 standard should suffice.
Digital IDs
To ensure that you are communicating with the Firstrust Bank Web site, we employ the Digital ID authentication technology from VeriSign, the world leader in digital authentication products and services. Using today's strongest cryptographic technologies, VeriSign Digital ID's provide a trusted means of verifying the identity of each party in an electronic transmission. Using this technology, you can be assured that you are actually transacting with Firstrust Bank when transmitting personal or financial data through our Web site.
Employee access to your information is limited.
Based on their job function, our employees have limited access to customer information. This enables them to assist you in completing transactions, offering additional financial services and resolving any problems that might arise. All employees are instructed to use the strict standards of care outlined in our Code of Ethics. Employees who do not conform to these confidentiality rules are subject to disciplinary actions up to and including termination of employment.
Keeping your personal information accurate and current is a vital concern.
Firstrust Bank strives to keep your personal and financial information accurate. If you believe that our records are incorrect or out of date, please notify us @ 800-220-BANK, option #4, or by e-mail at info@firstrust.com. We will investigate your concerns and make any necessary corrections quickly.

State-of-the-Art Internet Security
Firstrust constantly evaluates security measures to address evolving Internet and computer security threats. Our PassMarkTM security feature is a way to make you feel even more secure when you login. This new security feature gives you the added peace of mind that you are on the authentic Firstrust Web site.
Here’s how it works.
Create a PassMarkTM consisting of an image you choose from a library of images and a unique phrase such as "Dream Vacation". After you enroll, your PassMarkTM will be displayed so you can verify you are on the authentic Firstrust Web site before entering your login password. You will also select three challenge questions and answers. These will be used to confirm your identity when you login from a computer that you have not registered with Internet Banking.
