Security Alert!
Authorities have informed us that local residents are involved in an online “phishing attack” and are receiving a fraudulent email titled “Firstrust Card Fraud Prevention Alert.”
Please note: This email did not originate from Firstrust Bank and our systems have not been compromised.
“Phishing” attacks - where customer e-mails are hijacked for illicit purposes – are a real threat to our customers’ security. We urge all customers to be especially vigilant at this time for unsolicited emails and suspicious voice mail calls that appear to be originated from Firstrust Bank.
We would never ask a customer to give us their confidential account information via a website or over the telephone. If you receive an e-mail message or telephone call that appears to be suspicious or unsolicited, do not disclose personal information and immediately call our Customer Care Center at 800-220-BANK. Customer Care representatives are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
