Firstrust Bank. Banking Leaders. Since 1934.
While technology streamlines banking, nothing replaces personal attention. At Firstrust you don't have to choose between the two. Firstrust isn't a faceless corporation — it's family.
In 1934, at the height of the Great Depression, my grandfather Samuel A. Green founded First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Philadelphia in South Philadelphia. It became Firstrust Bank in 1987. His cornerstone was a commitment to community and the foundation was family values. He was a leader in every sense of the word and began Firstrust’s tradition of recognizing leadership in each other, our customers and in the community.
Samuel A. Green with wife and son Daniel.
In 1970, Daniel B. Green became president and CEO of the bank and currently serves as chairman emeritus of the board of directors. I proudly became president and CEO in 1995, and today serve as board chairman and CEO.
Today, the third generation of the Green family manages Firstrust with the same high standards and personal service my grandfather insisted on all those years ago. It's our pleasure to continue that tradition by serving all your banking needs. If you are a business owner, you'll find us especially attuned to your needs because of our roots.
Over the years, we've earned recognition from the major credit rating agencies as one of the strongest FDIC insured banks in the U.S.
I'd like to invite you to stop in and visit one of our many banks located throughout the Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley and Southern New Jersey.
