EXPANSION BEGINS
Another vision became a reality with the dedication of the First Federal Savings Building at the corner of Castor and Cottman Avenues.
MOVING FORWARD AS FIRSTRUST
On February 28th, depositors overwhelmingly approve the conversion of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Philadelphia into Firstrust Savings Bank, a private, FDIC-insured Philadelphia mutual savings bank.
STRATEGIC EXPANSION
Firstrust expands its capabilities with its purchase of Rancho Sante Fe Thrift and Loan Association.
RELOCATION
Firstrust Headquarters moves to the current Whitemarsh office.
SUBSIDIARY
Firstrust Financial Resources, an experienced wealth management, financial planning, employee benefits and advanced life insurance planning company joins Firstrust Bank.
OPERATIONS
Firstrust Bank relocates their entire Operations Center from Northeast Philadelphia to Horsham, PA, bringing over 140 jobs to the area.
MOVING INTO MARYLAND
Firstrust establishes a commercial real estate lending office in Annapolis, Maryland.
GREEN FAMILY FOUNDATION

Rancho Santa Fe Thrift & Loan is renamed to Hatch Bank.

An exciting new partnership takes flight as the Philadelphia Eagles announce Firstrust Bank as the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles.
FULL-SERVICE COMMERCIAL BRANCH IN MARYLAND
Firstrust opens a retail and commercial branch in Towson, MD.
UNITY FOR GROWTH
Firstrust subsidiaries Apex Mortgage Corp., a commercial mortgage lender, and Firstlease, Inc., a leading nationwide provider of equipment financing, merge under the new name of Apex Commercial Capital Corp.
