Mike’s strong intellectual and banking skills equip him to proactively work with customers to make good financial choices that help them reach both their short and long-term business goals.
Mike’s philosophy is to take things to a personal level to better help his customers, and he believes that this mindset is what separates Firstrust employees from other banks.
Mike likes to highlight his problem-solving skills by sharing two separate times he’s made suggestions to clients. The first is that he saved one customer $1,200 in airfare by having them remotely refinance their property. The second example is when Mike brought a new customer over to Firstrust. The customer’s old bank wanted to charge him a $3,000 prepayment penalty fee. Mike called the customer’s old bank and negotiated them into waiving the fee.
When Mike isn’t working with businesses in the community, you can find him golfing, umpiring baseball and softball, and coaching his First Tee ball team. He’s a graduate of George Washington University, and likes sharing with people that he’s been a Registered Options Trader and Market Maker for 17 years.
